The search returns 1,660,000 results.
The ranking are relevant as it all consists of EA games information. The return results are rather relevant; all of them show EA games.

AltaVista
Out of the first five ranking only one is not relevant to my search. It is the first return result where it shows other electronic products instead of EA games. The rest are related with EA games.

Askjeeves
The search returns 6,506,000 results. The search results are quite relevant but not all of them shows information of EA games. It shows some news and sale products of EA games.

Meta Search Engine:

Kartoo
The ranking of the search results are relevant. It shows news and games of EA. The search results are rather relevant as all of them show information and games developed by EA.

Metacrawler
The search returns 75 results. The ranking of the search is not that relevant, the second and third results are not related to EA games. Two of the results are not relevant, they show other electronic products. The rest are related to EA games.

Vivisimo
No result found. It wrote No results were found for your query.

Subject Directory:

Yahoo
The search returns 87200000 results. All of the ranking are relevant as EA official website is ranked the first. The links are all relevant, providing information on EA games.

GO
The search returns 93,100,000 results. The ranking are rather relevant to EA games. All the results are related to EA games.

Galaxy
The webpage didn’t show any link, instead it asked whether I mean electronic art games and showed other directory matches.

Compare the search results. Identify 2 characteristics that make all 3 search facilities similar or different from one another.

I think the results of all 3 search facilities almost return huge number of hits and some of the links searched are similar. They differ from one another as search engine returns almost relevant results to keywords, whereas for meta search engine one of it returns no results and some of links returned are not relevant to the keywords, same for subject directory where one of it returns no result.

Do you find any strength/weakness of each of them, in terms of search capability?

I realized that among the search engines, search engines returns the most relevant results. While for meta search engine and subject directory, it is more weak compared to search engines as it returns lesser or even no results. And search engines returns a larger number of hits compared to the rest.

Overall, which search facility best meet your searching needs? Why?

I think search engine best meet my searching needs as it returns more link for EA games information in different area, such as news and products of EA games.
