The above links are searched in the database of Temasek Polytechnic, the EBSCOhost. I have searched on my topic, EA Games. I find this four links rather useful and relevant to my topic. The first two links are the EA Games available to the public. It summarises what the game is about and how is it like. While the other two links are articles that shows some EA information. It shows interesting information which we hardly get to know or think of when playing the game.

Yani, Kevin and I created a Wiki account and we posted our thread based on our topic. I have chose this link, http://www.ea.com.sg/en-sg/, the EA official website. Information in it are very reliable as it is set up by the EA company. It mainly consist of all the computer and video games produced by EA company. It provides sufficient information related to all the games, on top of it, user could also view the lastest updates of the games from the webpage. Games demo are also released in the website for user who are interested in trying out the games. EA games can also be purchased and downloaded from the webpage directly instead of buying it physically which makes it more convenient for players. News of the games will also be updated regularly for user to view it and get informed. Offers and promotions will also be flash in the website to inform the public. Most of the users will also be fascinated by the screenshots that are available in the webpage and can be downloaded for free. User could also get to know which are the coming up games that will be released soon. I think this website is definitely a excellent webpage to view as it shows many EA games and its information. User who are interested in any of the EA games could just view this webpage and will be able to retrieve more information on it.

I have given EA's official website a higher marks compared to my resource 2. 4/5 for EA and 2/5 for IGN Entertainment, Inc. I find that EA's official website is an area where it provides the fullest and most updated information about EA games.

The search returns 1,660,000 results.
The ranking are relevant as it all consists of EA games information. The return results are rather relevant; all of them show EA games.
AltaVista
Out of the first five ranking only one is not relevant to my search. It is the first return result where it shows other electronic products instead of EA games. The rest are related with EA games.
Askjeeves
The search returns 6,506,000 results. The search results are quite relevant but not all of them shows information of EA games. It shows some news and sale products of EA games.
Meta Search Engine:

The ranking of the search results are relevant. It shows news and games of EA. The search results are rather relevant as all of them show information and games developed by EA.

The search returns 75 results. The ranking of the search is not that relevant, the second and third results are not related to EA games. Two of the results are not relevant, they show other electronic products. The rest are related to EA games.

I think the results of all 3 search facilities almost return huge number of hits and some of the links searched are similar. They differ from one another as search engine returns almost relevant results to keywords, whereas for meta search engine one of it returns no results and some of links returned are not relevant to the keywords, same for subject directory where one of it returns no result.
Do you find any strength/weakness of each of them, in terms of search capability?
I realized that among the search engines, search engines returns the most relevant results. While for meta search engine and subject directory, it is more weak compared to search engines as it returns lesser or even no results. And search engines returns a larger number of hits compared to the rest.

As the websites provide services where games can be brought online or a more efficient way where games could be downloaded directly straight into computer.
